The Chocolate Baker by Pierrick Boyer
Chocolate is one of the world’s most popular foods – in fact it’s hard to imagine life without it.
Step into Pierrick Boyer’s bakery for this special chocolate class and learn the skills needed to create truly inspiring cakes.
French born and trained Pierrick Boyer is one of Melbourne’s top patissiers and culinary teachers.
Participants will learn about using the best couverture available then get hands-on with making chocolate curls and cake decorations, ganache, praline and icing skills.
The hands-on approach then continues as you learn the secrets of Pierrick's famous brownie passion chocolate gateau – plus his praline mud cake.
Participants will each get to take home their own chocolate creations.
This class is the most fun you’ll ever have with chocolate!
Note - This class is for group bookings - we do not take individual bookings.
Costs
The Chocolate Baker costs $1750.00 – this covers up to 14 guests.
Extra guests are $125.00 PP (Max 18).
The class runs for around 2 1/2 hours.

Pierrick Boyer
Pierrick Boyer has a wealth of international experience, gained in many of the world's most prestigious venues, and has worked alongside some of the most
internationally renowned chefs including Alain Ducasse, Christophe Michalak, Pierre Marcolini and Stephane Leroux.
Pierrick has made Melbourne his home since 2005 where is his now sharing his knowledge and experience at the critically acclaimed Le Petit Gateau in the heart of the city (part of the RACV Club). Pierrick and his team create cakes and tarts from his original recipes which are purposely minimalist and contemporary, featuring fresh, distinctive flavours that have been chosen to satisfy all tastes. In 1996, Pierrick won the honorary award for the most creative sugar work in the well-renowned South Western Regional Pastry Chef competition. His creations at Le Petit Gateau have gained many awards including winning a Foodies' Guide to Melbourne Award in 2009. Pierrick has appeared on TV with Gabriel Gate's Tour de France, Coxy's Big Break and Postcards.
