Ready to cook Walter Trupp brings his vast experience in a class dedicated to desserts from across the globe. Join Walter at his beautiful Prahran cooking school for a journey through the most famous sweets and desserts of all time.

All guests in this event will get an opportunity to cook with Walter and get hands-on producing restaurant quality dishes. Classics include crepes Suzette with orange and flamed Cointreau sauce plus an Italian pannacotta served with an amazing summer berry compote.

Chocolate is a feature too with Walter’s famous Belgian chocolate fondant to enjoy. Plus a chocolate soufflé, based on the classic Sacher torte, smothered in a rich chocolate sauce.

There is also crème brûlée with its classic crunchy toffee topping. Finally Walter with present his awesome Spanish churros (doughnuts) with chocolate sauce for everyone to share and enjoy.

Costs
Sweets from around the world costs $1200.00 – this covers up to 12 guests.
Extra guests are $100.00 PP - Maximum 14
The event runs for approximately 2 1/2 hours.
All classes require pre-payment to secure the event.
This event is held in Prahran.

Walter Trupp

Internationally renowned chef, Walter Trupp has worked at some of the most prestigious restaurants in Europe and Australia. His CV includes Gasthof Post in Austria, Michel Roux`s three Michelin stared Waterside Inn, before joining Marco Pierre White as executive head chef in his restaurant group. He moved to Melbourne and ran Langton’s Restaurant and Wine Bar for three years. Walter developed his skills as a cooking teacher focusing on food appreciation and home cooking at the Queen Victoria Market, William Angliss Short Courses, the CAE, food expos and TV appearances.
