Italian wine and cheese dinner
Join Italian food expert Pauline Leonard and sommelier Ilaria Paiella (Michelangelo’s Restaurant) for an amazing insight into the world of Italian wine and cheese.
Wine and cheese is a magical combination but it can be challenging if they are not ‘paired’ the right way. Take the guess work out of matching Italian wine and cheese in this fun and relaxed workshop.
Illaria will talk about the characteristics and traditions of six different wines from regions across Italy. Pauline will then match six amazing cheeses that match the wines beautifully.
Tasting notes are provided and there will be a lighted hearted quiz to challenge your knowledge. The evening finishes with delicious antipasti platters and the wine judged to be the winner of the night.
Costs
Italian Wine and Cheese dinner costs $2000.00 – this covers up to 16 guests.
Extra guests are $125.00 PP (Max 20).
The event runs for approximately 2 – 2 1/2 hours.
All classes require pre-payment to secure the event.
