Arno Backes gets hands-on in the Chocolate Masterclass

Chocolate Masterclass

Join master chocolatier Arno Backes and food author Allan Campion for the ultimate chocolate indulgence event.

Start with a welcoming hot chocolate then join Arno to learn and perfect the art of tempering chocolate - the first step in successfully creating chocolate products and masterpieces.

Then learn how to make a variety of chocolate truffles, and the accompanying techniques of piping, rolling and dipping. Work with the raw materials of candied oranges, roasted almonds and hazelnuts to create unique chocolate bars, and then make your own flavour combinations for the ultimate foodie gift.

The session continues as Allan Campion then guides guests through the history and story of chocolate from South America to the world at large. This will cover chocolates from the big chocolate houses of Belgium, Switzerland and France through to rare single estate vintage chocolates from The Caribbean and South America.

Gain an understanding of where chocolate comes from, how it is made, how to really 'taste' chocolate and become expert in choosing your favourites. This is a foodie experience you will never forget!

Note - This class is for group bookings - we do not take individual bookings.

Costs
